    Yes, one can invest in Mutual Fund but before investing one should keep in mind about the return. Based on the performance in the market I would suggest investing in ICICI prudential AMC.

    Though these are good funds, you should look into Kotak Mutual Funds SIP Investment Plan schemes as they offer a very good interest rate which gets compounded on monthly investment giving high returns at end of the investment period. You will be gaining higher returns by putting your money into them than elsewhere. Specifically look into the equity scheme plans which have very high returns for a three year period.

    You can consult a financial advisor if you are investing through SIP investment plan. You should invest in the funds that suit your needs, fit your risk appetite and help you reach your goals. Kotak Mutual Funds offers some good mutual fund products for where you can invest through SIP.
